The Albums Behind Our Designs

· The Band

Some of our designs carry the names of our albums. If you don't speak German, the titles already tell a story on their own. Here's what each one means, and what you'll find on the design.

Altbau (2022)

An Altbau is an old apartment building, the kind with high ceilings and tall windows that line the streets of Dresden-Neustadt. The title stays close to home, which makes it a natural fit for everyday wear. The design is a fine white line drawing of an old building under a big round moon.

Blaue Stunden (2023)

Blaue Stunden means "blue hours": the short time after sunset when the sky turns deep blue and the night hasn't quite started. Its design is a sticker-book collage of a sleepy moon, an alarm clock, dice and playing cards around the 01099 digits.

Kinder der Nacht (2024)

Kinder der Nacht means "children of the night". It's for the ones who stay out after the last song and walk home as the sky gets light. On the back, the title stretches across in wavy blue letters. If that's you, this one is yours.

And the rest of the shop

Next to the album designs you'll find pieces built around the 01099 name itself, the postcode that started it all. Every design comes on tees, long sleeves, crewnecks and hoodies, with kids' and youth sizes too.
