Who We Are: 01099, the Crew Behind the Postcode
Five digits, four names, five albums. Here's who we are and why our band is named after a number, whether you've been with us since the first record or just found us.
Where does our name come from?
01099 is the postcode of Dresden-Neustadt, the part of Dresden we're from. No secret code and no hidden meaning: just home, written as five digits. You'll find those five digits on everything in our shop.
Who is in 01099?
We're Dani, Gustav, Paul and Zachi. We started making music together as 01099 in 2018, and we've released five albums since.
What do we sound like?
Our sound mixes hip-hop, electro and pop: rap over beats that make you want to move. It's music for summer nights, long drives and loud festival crowds.
